I studied biomedical engineering at Harding University, but my path has always been shaped by
a lifelong love for dogs.
Growing up with my uncle, a dedicated and well-respected dog trainer and K9 Officer, I was constantly surrounded by dogs learning from training sessions, watching bite work, going to trials, observing their behavior, and gaining a deep appreciation for the bond
between people and animals.
Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to turn that passion into hands-on experience, working as a trainer and handler at MK9 Solutions in Alabama and Marshall Farms in New York. These roles have given me valuable insight into canine behavior, handling, and care.
Even during college, I found ways to connect my engineering background to animals. Working
on a project focused on animal care and gaining experience at an animal hospital. I’ve always been curious about how things work and love building solutions that make a difference.
Now, I’m hoping to merge my love for dogs with my technical background, driven by the goal of creating tools and technologies that improve the lives of both animals and their handlers.
When I’m not working, I enjoy watching a good show, going for a hike, exercising, or simply
relaxing outside and enjoying the fresh air.

Animal behavior has always been a deep passion of mine. I started working with horses as soon as I was old enough to hold a pitchfork and later studied animal sciences at a vocational school.
Growing up in agriculture, I developed a tremendous appreciation for the working dogs I encountered. At 13, I got my first dog, a Belgian Malinois/Doberman mix rescued from a shelter, desperately in need of a job.
Over the years of owning and working with a Belgian Malinois mix, my appreciation for the art of animal training grew even deeper. I absorbed everything I could from the trainers and dogs I had the privilege to work with.
